    During a crisis, the IRC sends teams of medical experts to provide uprooted people with immediate, lifesaving care.

  • Our Health Basket is filled with essential medicines to treat malaria and other preventable diseases, materials to ensure safe drinking water, baby delivery kits, and critical training for local community health workers.

  • $50 can ensure that 100 refugees have access to safe, clean water in the midst of an emergency.

  • $100 can provide food and treatment for four malnourished children at a community-feeding center for one month.

  • $250 can enable the construction and maintenance of latrines for 700 displaced people, helping prevent the spread of life-threatening illnesses.

  • $500 can provide essential medicines, including malaria drugs, to treat 250 people over three months.

  • $1,000 can provide 10,000 doses of medicine to treat dehydration disease in an emergency.
